Route to Schwerin:
Coming from Rostock you reach Schwerin via the motorway A20 exiting at Kreuz Wismar. Drive further south on the A14.
Coming from Lübeck you take the A20 and change onto the A14 in Wismar.
Arriving via Hamburg you take the A24, leaving the motorway at exit Hagenow and change onto the B321 heading to Schwerin.
There are two possibilities to exit the A24 when you come from Berlin. Either you change onto the A241 heading north near Ludwigslust and then exit at Schwerin Süd or you change onto the B106 heading north at the exit Ludwigslust.
Arrival via long distance
Coming from northwest/Gadebusch take the B104 until you reach Obotritenring. Stay on the right, heading towards Ludwigslust. Drive past the intersection B106 Ludwigslust - take the next right towards Johannes-Stelling-Straße.
Coming from the north/Wismar take the A14 until you reach Schwerin Ost. Then take a left onto the B321 and drive straight ahead towards Crivitzer Chaussee and Ludwigsluster Chaussee. Then turn right into Lennéstraße and then turn left into Johannes-Stelling-Straße.
Coming from northeast/Güstrow you take the B104 straight ahead, driving along Werderstraße, passing the Schwerin Castle, along the Graf-Schack-Allee. At the next large intersection take a left, arriving at Johannes-Stelling-Straße.
Coming from the south/Ludwigslust take the B106 approaching the city centre, take a right into the Graf-Schack-Allee and a right again reaching Johannes-Stelling-Straße.
Coming from southwest/Crivitz take the B321 and proceed northbound as previously described.
